If my son got a bloody lip ringing someone’s bell and pounding on his door in the middle of the night, I wouldn’t press charges, I’d thank the guy for teaching my idiot son a lesson! Our Legislature plays ever-stupider games – are they or are they not “in session,” since they never officially adjourned. What kind of stupid game is this? And are they getting their very nice per diem to not do anything? Take away their per diem every day they do nothing. I’d like that job: Here’s $170, don’t do anything for 15 week. Ok, I’m your man!

And how is it necessary in 2010 to print thousands and thousands of pages of bills when every legislator can open a pdf and save the state’s trees and, btw, thousands of dollars in paper and printing costs, dollars we are right now struggling for in NYS. Does this make any sense to anyone? And if a bill is altered, they print the whole damned thing again, and again, and again. Really? When will NYS go paperless?

Somehow these are more pressing issues than Bristol Palin and Lindsay Lohan. Even than Chelsea Clinton’s wedding plans!
